BARC is a nonprofit dedicated to animal rescue and care in Bhutan. I designed a website to connect international travelers with their mission, transforming the compassion visitors feel for Bhutan into meaningful support for local animal welfare.

Without a compelling website, they couldn't convert travelers' emotional connection to Bhutan into donations or attract partnerships with veterinary organizations and sponsors.

The design needed to reflect Bhutan's unique culture and values, creating an authentic visual identity that resonates with travelers' memories while speaking the universal language of compassion.

Unclear Donation Process

  • The donation page was buried three levels deep in navigation (How You Can Help > How to Donate).

  • The 'DONATE' button will lead the user to the 'How to Donate' page.

  • The donation page overwhelmed users with complex banking instructions, multiple account numbers, and confusing third-party redirect processes.
